All tours & accommodation are operated by Travel North unless otherwise stated.

Travel North shall be under no obligation or liability to any person as the result of any inaccuracy or misdescription contained herein or in respect of any price, detail or service appearing herein.

Bookings: Bookings and advice on any tours or accommodation can be obtained direct from Travel North.Head Office and Transit Centre is available for service from 7:00am to 6:30pm daily (except Christmas Day). Travel North’s BP Roadhouse is open every day 24 hours and can arrange late check-ins in most instances to the accommodation houses mentioned in this site. More information and booking facilities exist at your local travel agent.Most leading motels and caravan parks have a direct ticketing facility with Travel North for your convenience.

Reconfirmations: It is in your own interest to re-confirm all bookings 24 hours before departure.

Refunds: Refunds can only be obtained from Office issuing Exhange Voucher. Refunds made payable will only be in accordance with monies made available by the operators whose services have not been utilised and will, as a matter of course, have cancellation fees applied to them. Application for refunds must be accompanied by relevant documents and explanations as to why the services were not utilised as this will have a bearing on the amount of refunds made available.

No Smoking: On all tours operated by Travel North coaches, a non-smoking rule has been introduced for the comfort of all passengers.

Insurance: It is strongly recommended by Travel North that travel insurance be taken out to cover cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

The Ghan / Raillink: Travel North is the appointed agent for Great Southern Railway in Katherine. Ticketing, transfers and assistance will be available at the Railway Station or at BP Transit Centre in Katherine Terrace.

Cancellations: For any cancellation, the following fees will apply: more than 24 hours prior to departure 15%, less than 24 hours prior to departure 30%, or in accordance which charges levied by the individual operators concerned. Airfare components may carry different cancellation fees. Check with your Travel Consultant at time of booking. Travel North will not enter into any discussion or correspondence in regard to cancellation charges made by an operator.

How to book: Select the holiday of your choice, then contact your preferred travel agent who will make the reservation request. Please note that all reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking. Any verbal quote is an estimate only of the price and availability, which will be confirmed in writing on confirmation of the reservation.

Validity of Prices: Prices shown in this site are for the period 1 April 2002 to 31 March 2003 unless otherwise stated. Travel North reserves the right to adjust prices within this period. All prices quoted in Australian dollars.
